Event Details

Many of our classrooms—despite good intentions—continue to reflect and reinforce characteristics of white supremacy culture: perfectionism, urgency, defensiveness, and individualism, to name a few. This interactive workshop invites educators and learners to name these dynamics, examine how they shape our teaching and learning environments, and practice strategies to interrupt and transform them. Together, we will explore ways to co-create classroom cultures that are relational, liberatory, and rooted in equity.
